Like a lot of other banks, Bank SNB ran into trouble with commercial real estate during the most recent financial crisis. Since then, it has reduced its reliance on commercial real estate, increased its portfolio of C&I loans and is growing loans at a double digit rate. Mark Funke, who was brought in in 2012 to the lead bank in a change of strategy, talks here with Bank Director digital magazine about the bank's change of focus, risk profile and core values.
